Shailaputri Keychain · Navratri Night 1
Shailaputri, the Daughter of the Mountain, is the first of the nine forms of Durga. She is worshipped on the first night of Navratri, and this is our keychain for that night.
She holds a trishul in her right hand and an open lotus in her left. Her crown is three Himalayan peaks with the crescent moon above it, and Nandi, the bull she rides, rests at her feet with his garland and bell. Her sari is orange, the colour of night one of Navratri 2026.
She is the first of our Navadurga series: one devi for each night of Navratri.
